Ashley-Devon Williamston / Poetry, Creative Writing
Ashley-Devon Williamston is a Cincy native, academic and artist. They hold an MA in Sociocultural Anthropology from the University of Cincinnati, and currently work as a researcher and educator. They use their poetic practice to express things that are not best stated in APA format, such as the delights of surprise homemade pies, perfectly symmetrical leaves, or the intense grief that comes with terminating a toxic relationship. For them, writing poetry is like crafting a portal through which others may venture to explore the depths of humanity. Their poems and essays have been featured in a number of outlets including Ginger, Autostraddle, Salty, and Dinner Bell.
