WordPlay statement in response to anti-equity legislation

WordPlay universally stands against the unconscionable wave of anti-equity legislation currently proposed and being ratified in states across our nation.

Over our 10 year history, WordPlay has carefully cultivated a community of safety and belonging, where students from a multitude of backgrounds and identities come together to learn from and with each other. Our community provides space for students to uncover, share, and celebrate their personal narratives. We believe that silencing stories does fundamental damage to children. Keeping young people safe is our top priority.
