Elaine Olund has been practicing yoga for over a decade and loves how it helps her find balance, both on and off the mat. After a near-death health crisis several years ago, her practice deepened further, which led her to complete 200 hour training in Ashtanga/Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga from It’s Yoga/Cincinnati. She’s also a graduate of True Body Leadership Training, which focuses on healing and growth through trauma-sensitive movement, art and writing practices. Additional training has focused on trauma-aware, restorative practices. She teaches weekly yoga classes to teens and seniors. Outside of yoga, Elaine owns a graphic design, writing and editing business, writes poetry and fiction, and teaches creative writing workshops. (She’s found yoga also helps fuel creativity!
