Jacob Zimmerman / Teaching Artist
Jacob interned with WordPlay in 2019 and is delighted to be back as a Teaching Artist. He is a passionate reader and writer who believes in the power of writing to make us kinder and gentler, more awake and alert to the world we live in. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Cincinnati. He has taught in a number of roles and has worked with students ranging from preschoolers to doctoral candidates. He recently served on the selection committee for the Cincinnati Youth Poet Laureate. Jacob loves walking, traveling, drinking coffee, and eating late night snacks.
